Our Mission
The mission of the Freedom Row is to provide educational, entertaining, and relaxing trips on the
Chesapeake bay specializing in small groups (less than ten). Corporate, club, history buffs, weddings.
Short trips
of three hours or all day trips. Trips from Hampton to Portsmouth or vice versa.
Our History
The Freedom Row has been taking clients out on Chesapeake Bay adventures since 1999. Trips have included
Opsail 2000 in Hampton, The Hampton Blackbeard Festival, Kayaking Trips up to Mobjack Bay. A week long adventure up the Chesapeake
Bay. Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race in Portsmouth, and history trips around Hampton Roads.
Cap'n Pern is involved
in the history of Pyracy in Hampton roads. As a member of Blackbeards Crew he has learned about the Hampton Roads area as
far back as 1607.
